Position: Mental Health Counselor/Marriage and Family Therapist

Position Type: W-2 (Employee)

Job Description:

As a Mental Health Counselor/Marriage and Family Therapist at our practice, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of our new business model for our well established therapy practice. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to foster deep and meaningful connections with clients and address their trauma-related needs. You will provide individual, couples, and family therapy, helping clients navigate their relationships and heal from past traumatic experiences. Being trained in EMDR, or a willingness to become trained in EMDR (within 6 months of employment) is a requirement of the position.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
  • Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Experience and interest in heart-centered relational therapy and trauma therapy, with a focus on working with individuals, couples, and families.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy, compassion, and a strong commitment to inclusive client care
