The wonderful, glorious, beautiful and sometimes downright scary years of “adulting” can bring a host of experiences that you may find confusing, unsettling, painful, exciting or just too much to handle without a supportive person to have on your “emerging” team. You may find that your parents are supportive, but you need a different viewpoint or more neutral person to confide in. Possibly, you have learned that your parents or caregivers could not provide the type of support you needed growing up and now feel ready to reach out on your own to bring the support you deserve into your life.

Nowadays, I get to stand by and watch my own children navigate their “adulting” years; which gives me a front row seat and keen understanding of the challenges younger millennials face in today’s contemporary society.
