Life can be challenging at any time in our journey. While it seems that society is trying to normalize depression, anxiety, stress and grief through the media, I believe that these are not things that we have to live with.
Anxiety and stress do not have to rule our lives or be a badge of honor that we wear for being over achieving, Type A Personalities.
Depression and grief can creep into our lives if not addressed. Depression can come from a multitude of life experiences, or from our genetic makeup. Grief, if left unresolved, can manifest in ways that bring negative consequences to our lives. Grief is unavoidable in our lives, but suffering doesn’t have to be permanent.
